Giryotas and Shore are married artists whose works complement one another in intriguing ways: Giyotas paints; Shore sculpts. Giryotas explores color; Shore concentrates more on light and shadow.Giryotas creates dynamic patterns of geometric shapes; Shore utilizes fragments of the human form. Giryotas' abstract work is deeply rooted in cultural symbols spanning the globe; Shore's pieces bring together sculpted elements and found natural objects.

The artists have exhibited extensively at numerous art museums and commercial galleries in Chicago, Dallas, New Orleans, Omaha, Santa Fe, and Atlanta. In addition, their work has appeared at many locations in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and New York. They have also exhibited in the Republic of Georgia in Eastern Europe.

Giryotas is coordinator of the Haggarty Art Gallery at the University of Dallas, Irvine, TX. Shore is an associate professor at the University of Dallas. They currently divide their time between Texas and Three Oaks, Mich., where they have resided for 30 years.
