Isn't it wonderful. The Russell Block is open and it serves as downtown Muskegon's living room. Thanks to the initiative of the West Michigan Symphony, the Russell Block has Opened to realize the downtown Muskegon dream a year ahead of time. Year end dollars are going to do double tempo work in 2014, so please consider the following appeal. All of us can't wait until the WMS opens the roof top garden and the student practice rooms on the third floor. All of us are watching as the children programs make downtown Muskegon the center for young music in West Music, with participants traveling to The Block from as far away as Fremont and Kent City. Your dollars will bring melody and harmony to the streets of Muskegon and restore the old city to its place as a center for choral music.
