Please Share This End of the Year Letter From Christian Gaines, Executive Director of @ArtPrize with All Who Love West @PureMichigan Art #ArtClub
Dear Friend of ArtPrize,
With ArtPrize 2013 behind us, and 2014 planning well underway, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Without the passion and participation of every Artist, Venue, Volunteer, Sponsor, Voter, Visitor and Friend, ArtPrize would simply be an idea.
In response to ArtPrize 2013, John Miller of The Wall Street Journal said:
Hundreds of thousands are telling the story about their individual experiences, and how ArtPrize connected them to an international community of participants.
In 2013, more than 10,000 children from 132 schools across Michigan traveled to ArtPrize. They experienced programs presented by the art and design experts of a community passionate about the cultural vibrancy of the region.
One teacher commented: "I cannot describe in words how I have felt seeing the enthusiasm and imagination of my students come to life".
ArtPrize only exists as a collaboration of the communities it serves. To further the mission and vision of ArtPrize, please consider a year-end tax-deductible gift. All gifts received before December 31 will be doubled thanks to a special matching grant.
Membership in ArtClub is another way to make a year-end tax-deductible gift. All memberships are eligible for the matching grant, and all new members will receive benefits through August 2015 -- that's 20 months!
Thank you for your passion and for your dedication to ArtPrize. As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, your financial gifts and continued participation will help to nurture and nourish the vitality of this international event. Together, we will transform our communities, spur conversation, catalyze creativity, reward risk, attract a vast, enthusiastic audience for contemporary art and mint the next generation of art lovers.
