Time to check out the Block in downtown Muskegon, Michigan, which has a newly constructed deck. It's the Block is a 150 seat performance hall and the home of the West Michigan Symphony and their box office. Clara Hill is a pretty awesome grant writer. The Block stands in Muskegon and a foundation in Grand Haven contributed the money to finish the deck! The deck commands a view of Lake Muskegon that is panoramic, revealing the bluffs of North Muskegon, the sand mountains of Muskegon State Park, the marine mysteries of the Mart Dock and more. Brooklyn roof top gardens eat your hearts out!
I'm not sure if WMS is licensed to have a cash bar yet, and the symphony knows its chardonnay. Just saying, all you hipsters! Come for the music; donate for the wine, you budget Bach buddy.
