As his Made in Michigan Exhibition at the Muskegon Museum of Art is to close 1/19, Two of Jason Quigno's Sculptures are Made Permanent.

The big art news in Muskegon is the Muskegon Museum of Art added two of Jason Quigno's stone sculptures to the permanent collection. The Quigno exhibition closes on the Sunday after tomorrow, 1/19, so stop in to see which objects got the MMA nod. This news was delivered to Quigno as a surprise during his recent visit. The next surprise will be the names of the donors who made this purchase happen. My bet goes on Philanthropist Peter Turner because he has worked this way before. In other words, he's noticed a sculpture on display and made arrangements for it to stay.
