Please join me sometime tomorrow, Saturday December 14th, I will be at Shen Dojo in Grand Rapids from noon until 8 pm. During the Avenue for the Arts Urban Lights event, we will offer a very unique chance to see a workshop going on at Shen Dojo on South African street-style knife combative techniques. Enjoy herbal tea out of a free handmade cup and sample coconut macaroons crafted by pastry chef Scott Seese while perusing pottery made by me at great prices that make great gifts.
Donations accepted for tea and sweets but the first 30 visitors will receive a free tea bowl as a gesture of thanks for venturing out in the cold to support this creative community.
