Performing Arts
The Dogwood Center hopes you will take time to get in the holiday
spirit and enjoy a family friendly film showing in the Dogwood
Center's Black Box.
Admission is free. Everyone is encouraged to "Help the Arts Help Our
Community" and bring non-perishable donated food items. All donated
items will go to Love INC and TrueNorth Community Services Food
Pantries which help Newaygo County families needing food assistance.
Dreamworks' animation film "Rise of the Guardians" is an epic
adventure that tells the story of a group of heroes, each with
extraordinary abilities. When an evil spirit known as Pitch lays down
the gauntlet to take over the world, the immortal guardians must join
forces for the first time to protect the hopes, beliefs, and
imagination of children all over the world. Starring the voices of
Hugh Jackman, Chris Pine, Alec Baldwin, and Isla Fisher. The 2012 film
runs 97 minutes and is rated PG.
Come early and bring your camera to get your family Christmas photos
done in front of Dogwood's famous 15 foot Christmas Tree! Santa will
also be here to welcome you!! The Dogwood will open at 2 p.m. for
photos and visiting with Santa. Movie starts at 3:00 p.m.
Dogwood Box Office Hours are Tuesday-Friday 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and
