Love Community Gardens is Overwhelmed with Requests for Love Mini Gardens all Over Muskegon. Donations Requested to Meet Demand.

The news desk just picked this up from Love Community Garden Volunteers.

A quick note to share with all about our Love Mini Garden project for the spring of 2014. We are committed to bringing backyard gardens to families in Muskegon and Muskegon Heights.

We have been accepting applications online and by mail.

The good news is we are seeing an over whelming positive response to this project with 100's of applicants. The not so good news is we never expected this many applications and even though we have a grant from CFFMC via the Kellogg Foundation the amount of money we requested will not be enough to meet the need.

With the end of 2013 nearing, please consider a donation to our Love Mini Garden project. What a wonderful gift to give, the ability for people to learn and enjoy growing their own healthy vegetables. You can send a tax deductible check to: Shoreline Branch/ Fruitport Lions , 2349 E Columbia Avenue, Muskegon, Mi 49444

Thank you
