Here's a Message from the Hackley Public Library:

We need your BLING! BLING is costume, vintage or precious jewelry. The Friends of the Hackely Public Library invite your donations for the Second Annual Bling Thing. Please pass along your gently used "BLING" to benefit Hackley Public Library.

Drop off your gently used BLING to benefit Hackley Public Library. Donations will be accepted at the following locations:

Hackley Public Library

316 West Western, Downtown Muskegon

Tanglewood Park

560 Seminole Road, Norton Shores, Michigan

The Bling Thing is a two day event produced by the Friends of the Hackley Library, held in the ballroom of the Century Club. 

On February 7th, 5 - 8 PM, a pre-sale party with wine and chocolates will allow collectors first view of the collected BLING for sale. A small five dollar donation is requested. 

On February 8th, 10 - 3 PM, remaining BLING will be available for sale to the general public. The Muskegon Area Arts Council shall entertain with a fashion show of artists dressed in words and the paper upon which words are printed.

Words to Wear February 2012, an Event Planned by Muskegon Area Arts Council will be repeated this year, February 8th, 2013.
