Celebrate Unsilent Night at Left Foot Charlie, Grand Traverse Village, composition by Phil Kline. Bring a Boom Box. 12-20 6 PM @PureMichigan

Time to dust off those boom boxes, laptops, Mp3 players, iPhone's and iPad....its time once again for Unsilent Night at LFC!

WHAT IS UNSILENT NIGHT?
An original composition by Phil Kline, written specifically to be heard outdoors in December. It takes the form of a street promenade.

Each Participant gets one of four tracks of music in the form of a CD or MP3. Participants carry boom boxes, or anything that amplifies music and simultaneously start playing the music. They walk a carefully chosen path (lead by Bryan Ulbrich, Winery Sherpa) creating a unique mobile sound sculpture which is different from every listeners perspective.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
Each person is asked to bring their own boom box, laptop or other portable musical device to carry along the walk through the Grand Traverse Village Commons. Reservations are required. Upon reserving your spot you will receive the link information for downloading to your mp3 or a CD will be held on reserve for you at Left Foot Charley to be picked up at the event.

If you don't have a portable music player, you are still more than welcome to participate in the walk and hear the music. However, the more boom boxes there are, the better the piece sounds and the better the experience for all involved
