Call for Robot Art Show, Vertigo Window on Division, Jpegs Due 11-19, Install Sat 11-23, Grand Rapids

Call for Art:

Seeking original 2D and 3D artwork with a robot theme, for display in the front windows of Vertigo Music (Grand Rapids, MI) as part of a holiday display/group exhibition November 25, 2013 through January 1, 2014.

Subject matter is somewhat open to interpretation – robots could be futuristic, retro, toys, mechanical pets, fembots, androids, people doing “the robot,” etc. Smaller-scale works generally preferred for this exhibition (16” x 20” and smaller). If submitting larger work, please note that size constraints exist due to angle of artwork load-in door and window dimensions. Window depth is 27”, door width 24” with a load-in swing of approximately 40”.
